The Wine of Noah is an intoxicating brew, supposedly the best wine in the world. It was in the possession of King Gwyddno Garanhir of Cantref Gwaelod in the year 489.

The Wine of Noah is sometimes called the Wine of Shame, because in the eastlands, "where the sun rises from the dead", there lived a sailor named Noah. After a long voyage he drank from this brew, and fell senseless to the ground so that his children mocked and shamed him.

This story corresponds to the Biblical figure Noah.

The Wine of Noah has a smell so tempting that it is hard to resist drinking from it. Those who do find it the most powerful alcoholic beverage they have drank, and just one swig can send lesser men unconscious.
